The University of Dhaka has been published their announcement for admission test 2019 – 2020. Dhaka University Admission Circular 2019-20 has been published by the authority. Online application date will be start from 5 August 2019 and the end date is 27 August 2019. Admission test will start from 13 September 2019. History of Dhaka University

DU is the most famous university in Bangladesh known as the Oxford of the East. It was established in 1921 in East Bengal, also the oldest University in Bangladesh. Sir Khwaja Salimullah with other Viceroy gave land to establish the institution. According to that case, we can say that Syed Nawab Ali Chowdhury is the founder of it. Sir P.J. Hartog is the remarkable person who was the first Vice-Chancellor of DU. At first, it was named at Prince Charles University. After the argument with rai Kedarnath counselor founded Ramjas college. Finally, he suggested to called by the present name.

Dhaka University is well known as DUCSU. It always acting like the voice of students to make any decision. Higher educational activities are controlling under this University. Present campus area of Du is 240 hectares (600 acres). From the beginning of the college, have to face many problems. In 1873 the college belongs to Bahadur Shah Park. Then have to recollect from them. In that time all India Muslim league formed our new capital city Dhaka.

DU has made a place in the list of Top World Universities in 2011- 12. The place of DU is 551 among 30,000 Universities. The latest or updated ranking is 1001 among the total University in the world. This was the last update ranking get in 2018. In Asian ranking list, DU achieves 109th position. Those all ranking is based on the study level, students’ numbers and other environments in the University.

DU Admissions Procedure

Fill the required information according to your academic information. Recheck the form carefully. Click the submit button to submit the application. Please save and collect the printed copy of the confirmation. This printed copy will be needed while you have to download the Admit card copy.

DU Admissions Requirements

For some specific subjects’ students have to maintain some special conditions. For different faculty need different condition. Before submitting the form please read all subject wise conditions appropriately. If you skip the one, your form will be canceled. That is why you need to match the score, qualification background according to the notice.
